wetwall better than tiles?

Is wetwall better than tiles?  Its a question we get asked on a regular basis.

Wet wall has become more and more popular in the last few years, and  installing wet wall as an alternative to tiles can often be the ideal and favourable option.

Mermaid, Nuance and Multipanel panels are fully waterproof and can be used around baths, showers and basins.

They come in variety of sizes and can be cut to your specific needs, are easy to install and do not need to be grouted, making them easy to maintain and keep looking as good as new.

Wetwall panels are made from various wooden materials usually either MDF or Plywood treated to be completely waterproof usually coming in sizes such as 600mm tongue and groove, 900mm, 1000mm and 1200mm but can be cut to any size and be as tall as your bathroom requires.

Wet wall provides a modern seamless finish that is easy to keep clean due to the lack of grouting required, making them more hygienic and stain resistant.

Their versatility means they are suitable for use in different areas of your bathroom, such as the shower enclosure, behind the sink or around the bath.

You can install panels throughout your entire bathroom or just specific sections. You can even panel your ceiling, ideal in wet rooms or particularly splashy households.

Tiles, on the other hand, may be a more suitable choice if your bathroom suite has a traditional or period design.

They can require more regular maintenance than shower walls, as grout can harbour mildew and mould.

That said, wet wall panels are much easier and cheaper to replace than tiles, as well as being less effort and time consuming to install.

This makes installing wet wall panels a great way to update and change the entire look of your bathroom suite.

The answer can often come down to personal choice, the rest of the look of your suite and the amount of money and effort you are willing to put into decorating your bathroom, there is no real right or wrong answer. Wet wall or tiles, the choice is yours.
